Mariam Ethezaz, OD, is the skilled optometrist at Lincoln Square Eyecare, which serves the Ravenswood and Lincoln Square neighborhoods of Chicago. She offers comprehensive eye care, including eye exams, myopia treatment, dry-eye treatment, LASIK consultation, and much more.
Dr. Ethezaz earned her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago in Roger’s Park, Chicago, graduating magna cum laude. She then earned her doctor of optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in the Douglas area of Chicago. She grew up in the same neighborhood where she now practices as an optometrist, and she’s excited to bring excellent eye care to the residents of her hometown.
Dr. Ethezaz and her team at Lincoln Square Eyecare work hard to create a warm environment where patients can feel confident about the eye care they receive. She emphasizes a cautious, conservative, and caring approach to vision and eye health. Dr. Ethezaz uses advanced equipment to offer accurate diagnosis and treatment, including a digital acuity system, autorefractor, and advanced retinal imaging system.
Because she’s so dedicated to her patients, Dr. Ethezaz accepts all types of insurance, including Medicaid, at Lincoln Square Eyecare. Cash payments are allowed, and financial payment plans are available as well. Dr. Ethezaz speaks English, Spanish, and Urdu.
Dr. Ethezaz believes in contributing to her community and the world. She’s dedicated many hours to volunteer work, including vision screenings in her local community, providing packaged food to local refugees, and mentoring young adults with autism.
